Dr. Casey Feickert DPT, CSCS

Opening my sports physical therapy clinic is the culmination of my dedication for both athletics and helping others overcome physical challenges. My journey into this field started with my own athletic career, where I played professional baseball for the Kansas City Royals. The only reason I had the opportunity to play at that level was because of a great strength and power training routine that allowed me to be more explosive and durable. Unfortunately, when my workouts and mechanics were changed, the tissues in my shoulder could no longer handle the forces being put through them, and my career was cut short by injury. This pivotal experience ignited my enthusiasm for physical therapy and biomechanics, inspiring me to help athletes avoid the same fate.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science, as well as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), I’m uniquely equipped to provide comprehensive care that combines injury recovery with performance enhancement.

At my clinic, I specialize in sports rehabilitation with a particular focus on helping middle school, high school, college athletes, and beyond return to the sports they love. I understand the importance of getting back on the field, court, or track, not just quickly, but safely and stronger than before. My approach is personalized and in-depth. I work one-on-one with each client during longer appointments, ensuring we have the time to make meaningful progress on a weekly basis, rather than rushing through sessions just to see more people.

I’m committed to assessing for movement pathologies, muscle imbalances, and injuries, and then designing customized treatment plans that include tailored exercise programs. These plans are not just about recovery—they’re about optimizing performance and building resilience to prevent future injuries.

Beyond the clinic, I stay active with my family, enjoying sports like basketball, pickleball, and mountain biking. I’m also an avid reader, continually expanding my knowledge to stay on the cutting edge of advancements in physical therapy.

Opening this clinic is more than just a business for me—it’s a commitment to empowering athletes of all ages to overcome physical challenges, return to the sports they love, and continue pursuing their athletic dreams. Whether you’re in middle school, college, or competing at an elite level, I’m here to help you recover, rebuild, and return stronger than ever.
